We entered our offices at 4 AM GMT-6 this morning to find the place ransacked. All software and hardware associated with the development and testing of Sharpie was stolen or destroyed beyond recognition.
All signs point to Vas as the culprit. The footprints/fingerprints matchup perfectly and on the dusty floor where our main server bank used to reside (now presumably in the dark laboratories of Vas himself) was etched into the dust the symbol of a small fish.
Despair not, from the ashes will gallantly rise Sharpie 2.0
I have some ideas for a Quantum neuron already.
A poor taste in my opinion has been demonstrated....
BTW,seconds before I post this the thread was deleted from the Rybka forum....

Indeed! I was so naive, I just thought it had a 20% chance of being fake, for some reason...

Perhaps this will be the promised "big announcement" from Vas, "I claim Sharpie as my own!"

Congrats Zach, you were right.
I did get a real kick out of this though.
When I first read the Sharpie announcement, I did think it was just a hoax, but eventually I started to believe it to some extent as the guy seemed fairly credible.
