Zappa Dissident Aggressor settings

Hello folks, because some asked for these settings I will release them. Don't expect much ! This is NOT an engine vs engine setting, as I have explained in the past. Rather, it's designed to play like Tal on Angel Dust. The final setting was created from tweaking numbers and watching results. They are meant to play CRAZY aggressive chess, crush humans, and once and a while a top engine.

Hi Robert!
Thanks for sharing your settings, Zappa really is a crazy beast with them, especially at certain tactical probs he is even much faster in finding best moves.
It remembers me of a setting of Junior of mine, which is damned good at bm problems too, especially if sacs are involved.
As for Eval Pawn Score, I guess you will have tried to lower this one too?
AT Print PV Tips instead of 1, 0 maybe?

Hello Peter, I am glad you like the settings. Now regarding Eval Pawning scoring ( I hope I understood this parameter) I wanted Zappa Dissident Aggressor to overvalue pawns as they are as Philidor said it , "The soul of chess". But seriously, I wanted to see passed pawns and pawn storms, and this setting seemed to produce it better with a higher value. Again, I just tweaked numbers and watched games until I saw what I was looking for. Namely, insanity!

it would be very cool & should be relatively easy to come up with a decent (not insane, already got that) junior personality, say a 2700 type. maybe i'll get to work on it this week but if yr up to another challenge robert i'd love to see some settings. :)

For Junior? I only have Junior 11.1 , but it cannot be configured as much as Zappa.

heh - i would actually say it's much more configurable, but perhaps it depends on how much you know about chess programming; most of the zappa settings are somewhat oblique to me whereas juniors are numerous and clearcut. options like contempt, king safety, no progress penalty, space, & mobility are clearly geared toward easily creating a sacrificial (to the point of kamikaze if one wishes) monster.
