there is no tcec forum #8, so i am forced to stick this here.

arminius kept on crashing, so its out.
komodo leads stage 1a, stockfish and houidini in stage 1b.
no opening book, until nelson harnendez and adam hair get busy later in stages.
Jonny is R4447.

there are 2x10 2600 Mhz cores. this is inferior to 2x8 3300Mhz previous.
large pages are turned off.

the Best will play 100 games in a Super final, 3 hours each plus incerment.

it is now 24 hours and 1 round into TCEC #8.
komodo beat jonny, and fire won too. gull made it a 3-way tie in 1st.
i found out you can still post in tcec forum, just not under #8.
you can use number #7, until jeremey bernstein updates the forum.
