I hope not, I would have rather adjourned the game till 64x had computer assistance, in that case.

Indeed, why did he choose a2 ???
I will comment on a2 after the game is over ;)

Are you playing this game without computer help? :o
For the most part after my original draw offer. I assumed more responsibilities at work that forced me to travel extensively. I can't run personal apps on my work laptop, so I have been relying on shredderchess.com for tablebases, a magnetic chess set and notepad (I mentioned this a few pages back).

If I managed to get back home, I would run a quick check with engines to see where I stand, and develop a couple of ideas. Couple of weeks back work went even crazier and couldn't analyze. I am back to only 90% crazy busy  so I took the opportunity to work on a few moves while on an very long flight.

I am sorry Uly, I thought you had understood I was playing without computer assistance from previous comments a number of moves back. I hope you don't consider that to be a lack of interest on the game, as it is the exact opposite... that is why I can't stop playing.

I see, what I understood was that you played a couple of moves without computer assistance (ones that were best anyway), but I thought that since about move 59 you resumed computer analysis.

I think the game is over now (as 1-0 if you wish to continue with it from the current position), but after you gave me a great time with the game and at one point the chance to continue the game until later, it's only fair that I offer this:

Adjournement And 7 Takebacks Offer

(so we continue the game properly once you have free time and access to engines from after 59.Bb5)

Of course it's your decision, but I'd feel better if we replayed from that part at full strength.

Thank you very much. I will take you up on your kind offer. I have enjoyed this game tremendously, and this will give me the chance to make justice to the effort put on it thus far.

I am uncertain of when things will come back to normal for me, hope it would be within a month or 6 weeks at which point I will contact you. You are a very gracious opponent, and I feel bad to make you wait the way I have.

Hi there. I wanted to mention that a few things have gone my way at work, translating into a bigger role. The flip side is that the change puts me out of the game for an extended and undefined period of time. I will continue to participate in fora but can no longer invest time in analysis.

Thus, it is only fair that black resigns. I have enjoyed this game tremendously. Thank you for it and your great sportsmanship, I sincerely hope to play you again in the future under different circumstances.

Thank you very much for your time 64x! I will remember this game as the most interesting one I've played, and I'm proud of managing to reach a winning position (my secret weapon was Rybka 4 Mindbreaker's setting).

This has been a great game, one I'd be willing to suspend for months or years if you're interesting in getting the truth of the current position in the far future, but I can understand if you'd rather start a new one by then, meanwhile

*Big handshake accepted* :D

:D The next time I play a game in a forum, it will be this one from this position, as I am interested indeed. (How is that for a promise? )

Do you mean the parameters on mindbreaker's experiment or did you create a personality called Mindbreaker?

Good, good. I had to wait 2 and a half years to get the third player in a 3 player chess correspondence game, so I have some good patience! :D

From some mindbreaker's experiment, specifically:

[OPTIONS]
Main Process Priority=BelowNormal
Always Score Main Move=true
Display Upperbounds=true
TC Normal Move Time=100
TC Max Move Time=150
White Pawn cp=3
Black Pawn cp=2
White Knight cp=10
Black Knight cp=8
White King Bishop cp=10
Black King Bishop cp=8
White Queen Bishop cp=10
Black Queen Bishop cp=8
White Rook cp=17
Black Rook cp=13
White Queen cp=40
Black Queen cp=32

I guess I'll go now and thank him on his thread :)

Hi! Turns out I will have time over the holidays for analysis. Wondering if you want/have time to get to the bottom of this engame as discussed above. I will commit to a pace that allows us to finish before WBCCC, and if we don't we automatically adjourn until is over.

Of course, I know you have a number of games on the go, so I will understand if you can't do this now.
