Killfish 150624 wins Strong Engines Tournament (Tests by Jörn Gronemann, Heide, 2024.06.19 Time: 3'+3")

Over a thousand games - another big tournament of strong chess engines. The winner was Killfish 150624. Place 2 and 3 for Jigsaw 5.8 and CorChess 20240606 engines. And as usual, many games ended in draws.

SF-PRO 14.06.2024 wins New Engines Test, by Chess Engines Diary, 2024.06.22

Another large tournament in which we test new versions of chess engines especially for you. The winner was the SF-PRO 14/06/2024 engine, which is currently only available to our testers.
The 2nd place was taken by the Marauders 3.6 engine. Places 3 and 4 were taken by Jigsaw 5.8 and Stockfish 16.1 engines.
Among the new, weaker engines, Odonata 0.9.0 fared well, gaining over 70 ranking points.

The next test tournament is won by the Deep Ripper -1 chess engine. The 2nd place was taken by the CorChess 20240606 engine. The 3rd and 4th places with the same number of points were taken by the SF-PRO 14/06/2024 and SF PB 120624 engines.

Another test tournament of new versions of chess engines was won by SF-PRO 14.06.2024.
Places 2 and 3 were taken by HypnoS 220624 and Jigsaw 5.8 engines. "Debutants" - Heimdall 0.1 and Bread Engine 0.0.5 at the bottom of the table.

This is another very large test tournament (1224 games). The winner was the newest chess engine HypnoS 220624. In 2nd and 3rd place with the same score were the Tactical Titan and Deep Blue-20240518-assassin engines.
Surprisingly, at the very end of the table is the latest CorChess engine build 20240618.

The test tournament for new chess engine versions proved to be quite fascinating. The top two spots were occupied by Stockfish dev-20240623 Xoto10 and Deep Ripper -1 engines. Notably, the Stockfish dev-20240623 Shawn Xu version, built on the same day as the winning engine, exhibited a significantly poorer performance.

Steel Fighter 2 emerged victorious in another test tournament featuring top chess engines. Marauders 3.6 and SF-PB 120624 secured the second and third places, respectively. Notably, Lc0 0.31.0 achieved a significant ranking improvement, gaining +16 points.

The tournament took place in GUI-Fritz 17. Three engines, Stockfish dev-20240623-267860, Stockfish dev-20240623-d5c130, and Killfish 150624, scored an equal number of points and shared the top three positions.
