Hello there )

As usual, I'm pleased to announce that
Another new interesting idea is born:

Running separately two tours leagues (2m+1s):
Private plus Public...as book participants,
The highest Top 8 rated ones are selected,
Sure I refer for recent organized BN XXVIII

Note also that,
Both tours will be played by Cfish (9-times Champion)
In short, this time as Blitz, but no NN assistance!

I'd like to point also that,
Private league tour will be harder for sure!
Where Public one will be more fair, right ?)

Ok...I wonder much and let's see
What will be rankings under Classic conditions?
Can we expect DON to be winner of Private tour?
And where OPTIMUS to be winner of Public tour?

Private League:

DON 210324
Everest 300923
Flavo R5
HCan 290224
Pyramid 280324
SENTINEL 5
TorBot v2
TURKEY 1203

Public League:

C by Cevdet
Dara 010324
Grendel X
HCanFree 24
Leschats 150324
OPTIMUS 2403
Pampa 2
Tunafish

Good Luck to ALL

And very soon more updates coming )

Greetings

UPDATE - FINAL LIVE STANDINGS:

DON is Champion again...Congrats to Vasid Chouhan!
As we see, even without using any NNUE assistance !!

You know,
With HUGE assistance..any fool may play stronger...

Meanwhile, never underestimate anyone's work,
It's dangerous disease of arrogance, jealousy etc.

And why I say like that,
Recently I received a private mail that DON + OPTIMUS are weak ))
My replay was to this guy: I disagree...and if this was true ..then
How DON managed to win? and all was about previous B/N XXVII
What about now, under Classic cond? we see again DON DON DON...
Where 2nd place is going to SENTINEL (by Roger Constantinesco)
3rd is TorBot v2, it's my book, but tuned to prefer Lichess user...

Code: Select all

Rank Name Elo +/- Games Score Draw
   1 DON 210324 20 11 700 52.9% 81.3%
   2 SENTINEL 5 6 10 700 50.9% 86.1%

   4 HCan 290224 1 10 700 50.2% 86.1%
   5 Everest 300923 -1 12 700 49.9% 78.6%

   8 Flavo R5 -14 13 700 48.0% 74.9%

FINAL TOUR UPDATE

1st of all,
I realized to run more tours as NNUE as well...

In short, simply to see the influences such as
With / Without using NNUE assistance as well!

For anyone missed, I'd like to point/add also that,
Private + NN Leagues are stronger.. better quality!
You can see and check the overall draw statistics!
Yes...the Draw stats can be used as good indicator.
Sure I refer about current tours...e.g not always such
As high produced Draw stats means higher quality..!

Just a few examples about high draw stats values,
Many engines are weaker than Cfish, Raubfish SC
But theirs produced draws are much higher...!!
As same words are going for many books as well..

Or some Online/on same PC players gain higher points...
As reason, they are playing via HUGE assistance etc.
Here I'm not talking only via NN...I mean simply such as
Using cherry picking method or using slower TC etc.
Of course then even weaker openings will be ranked
At higher ranks... but what about under these cond.?)
Yes.. SCCT is hard ...proved thousands of times !!

But on the other hand, (about running separately..)
Under these tour conditions are more fair, right ?)
Normally for experienced... it's as soft touch to gain
Better, more points vs available opening lines, right?)

Honestly, here (via latest tours) still is not 100% fair,
Since some of Top books are smaller or old-dated, etc.
Especially I mean about Everest, Grendel, TorBot etc.
But however, even as old-dated..they are not so bad!

Ok here are the latest played tourneys results..and you can
Appreciate any standing, which you like more ) but anyhow,
As usual, same authors books are on Top...that means a lot!!

Private Book Champion: DON - Congrats to Vasid Chouhan!
Public Champ OPTIMUS -Congrats to Roger Constantinesco!

Hello Chess Friends,

Another exciting Duel idea is born:
Very soon, probably today I plan to
Organize: FRINGE407 Vs ProteusSFX AI

And if you are going to ask Me why... ?)
For some reasons e.g according to Lichess server,
ProtesusSF is highest rated player (sure in Elo points)
And if I'm not wrong, rated minus plus 3300, right?
Where FRINGE407 as new incomer has lower Elo points,
But managed to defeat him with BIG margin (+228 Elo)
And I wonder, how this can be possible...?)
Anyhow, under SCCT cond.. no cherry picking system!
No hardware speed advantages...and both will be played
By same Top NNUE engine..against any confusions etc.

To be more clear, based on recent Lichess database,
Both Online players are already played each other...
But I assume under not equal hardware speed cond.
So I wonder what will be results under more fair cond.
For this reason, I'm going to create two based books,
Which will be tuned to prefer their recent openings...
Since the planning books will be based on many games,
Especially ProteusSFX will contain thousands of games.
In same time that means, we can not expect identical
Openings.. I mean like previous played theirs 100 games...
However..after all, I think that it's worth giving a try... !)

Btw, My Congratulations to Fringe...really impressive!
And here are their mentioned, previous Lichess results:

Code: Select all

1 FRINGE407 3009 +26/-1/=73 62.50% 62.5/100
2 ProteusSFX-AI 3149 +1/-26/=73 37.50% 37.5/100
In other words,
Let's see who will be Winner under equal hardware cond ?!
And any guess: ProteusSFX or FRINGE407 ?)

Good luck to both..and please stay tuned,
Soon as possible, the Duel will be played...

Have fun )

The DUEL - FRINGE407 Vs ProteusSFX is ended:
The Winner is FRINGE407 - Congartulations!

Code: Select all

Score of FRINGE407 vs ProteusSFX: 10 - 5 - 483 [0.505]
... FRINGE407 playing White: 10 - 5 - 233 [0.510] 248
... FRINGE407 playing Black: 0 - 0 - 250 [0.500] 250
... White vs Black: 10 - 5 - 483 [0.505] 498
Elo difference: 3.5 +/- 5.3, LOS: 90.2 %, DrawRatio: 97.0 %
500 of 500 games finished.
GAMES:
https://pixeldrain.com/u/1Exfjb3b

Conditions:
2x Epyc 7B12, CuteChess, 1 Core, Ponder OFF, 1m+0.6s, 64 MB Hash, 4-MEN
Note: Both participants are played via Raid v3.4 engine (by Tanick Ramz)
And for better performance: for each player is installed a copy of engine..

As final words,
Under equal hardware speed cond. no chances to see
Similar points difference as Online...on other hand,
Sure for a better conclusion more games are required,
But according to latest played results it is very clear
Also that FRINGE407's used openings are more dangerous!

And I hope also that,
You like my current organized Duel...?)

Ok friends... that's all for now.. see you later

Best,
Sedat
