Thrawn 2.1 wins Group E-13 (Amateur Section) Edition 08/2024, 2024.12.16-17

The E-13 group of the Amateur Chess Engine Section has ended. The winner was the Thrawn 2.1 engine and in 2nd place the Javelin 3.0.0 engine. These two engines have advanced to the higher E-12 group. Further tests are ongoing, we will soon post the results on our website.

The E-14 group of the Amateur Chess Engine Section has ended. The winner was the Cheers 1.0.0 engine and in 2nd place was the Bagatur 5.1c JA engine. More tests are underway, results will be available soon on our website.

SpecTral 8.0 wins TOP Engines Tournament, 15-22.12.2024

Another tournament of the strongest chess engines. The SpecTral 8.0 engine won. In 2nd place the Stockfish dev-20241208 engine. From 3rd to 12th place engines with the same result, which shows that the tournament was very even.

Yuliana 6.0 wins New engines Test, 15-20.12.2024

We have a tournament of 35 new versions of chess engines before you. The Yuliana 6.0 engine won with a very good result. In 2nd-3rd place were the SF-PRO2 11.12.2024 and SpecTral 8.0 engines. We will post a few more results before the Christmas break, check our website.

Obsidian dev-14.18 SE wins Middle Class Engines Tournament (Tests by Jörn Gronemann, 2024.12.22)

After the Christmas break, we are posting the results of our next test tournaments. The Middle Class Engines Tournament on December 22 was won by the Obsidian dev-14.18 SE engine. In 2nd place was the Caissa 1.21 engine and in 3rd place was the Alexandria-7.1.0 engine. More results will be available on our website soon.

Kookaburra 3.00 wins Strong Engines Tournament (Tests by Jörn Gronemann, 2024.12.23)

The tournament of the strongest chess engines was won by the Kookaburra 3.00 engine. Places 2 to 4 were taken by the engines: Killfish 021224, Sailfish 4.0 and Deep Blue-20240518. The order was decided by the additional score - Berger.

A small test tournament - young talents, i.e. chess engines aspiring to the elite. The Obsidian dev-14.20 SE engine won, the Arasan 25.0 engine took 2nd place, and the Halogen 12.12.3 JA engine took 3rd place.

Arcanum 2.4 wins New Amateur Engines Test, 26-29.12.2024

The tournament of new, amateur chess engines was won by Arcanum 2.4. In 2nd place the Zangdar 2.31.04 engine and in 3rd place the RukChess 4.0.1 engine.
