Sean, as expected there was not a lot of sincerety in your "direct and easy question", again you were just looking for a stage to express your preconceived opinion.
It's very easy and cheap for you to make these allegations, as the only way I could defend myself is by publishing the source code, which I currently don't intend.

You don't have to publish the whole source. Just small parts of it.

I, too, would like to know the truth about Houdini. Currently I believe you, but e.g. Lance Perkins's evidence at Talkchess was pretty convincing.

I'm a bit skeptical and wonder what could possibly convince some people who apparently don't believe a single word I say (just reread this thread to get the mood...). For every bit of code I show they can and probably will claim that I didn't provide any evidence that it is part of Houdini...

Lance Perkins showed a piece of code that is part of the initialization of the material balance table, which is a static table containing the values of different piece configurations. Let me copy here what I already wrote on Talkchess in the very first thread about Houdini 15 days before Lance Perkins' topic.

A serious request. I have no bad name in CCC and probably some regulars there like Bob Hyatt, Gerd, Dan Corbit would trust my normal words. You let me have the full Houdini codes for latest version. I will confirm and make an unequivocal statement if Houdini has cut_and_paste from Ipp* sources. I promise never to divulge anything to anybody and will erase the sources after comparison.

We have had many cases in CCC where several respected people have compared source codes and come to different conclusions. What makes you feel your verdict would be generally accepted ?
