Stockfish 16 and Blue Marlin 15.5 are clear winners. The newest Stockfish 16.1 will play in the next tournament.
Stockfish 16.1 won the MacOs test tournament. As you can see, it is also the most powerful chess engine in this system. The new version of the Velvet 7.3.0 engine also achieved a good result.

The two engines Stockfish 15.1 and Stockfish 16.1 scored the same number of points. Among the new engines, Velvet 7.3.0 performed well and took fourth place.
The chess engine tournament for macOS saw Stockfish 16.1 take first place, followed by Stockfish dev-20240530 in second place, and Blue Marlin 15.5 in third.
Among the newer and less powerful engines, Nalwald 19 performed admirably.
Another chess engine tournament for MacOS has concluded, with the formidable Blue Marlin 15.5 emerging victorious with a perfect score. The runner-up was StockNemo 5.7.0, followed by Avalanche 2.1.0 in third place.
Thank you Black Swan for continuing to test chess engines for MacOS despite his illness. The latest Stockfish 17 won. Stockfish 16.1 had only half a point less and took 2nd place.
3nd place was taken by the Dragon 3.1 engine.
Aramis 1.4.0 did not start in the Banksia GUI.

We present you a small test tournament of chess engines running on MacOS. Our tester Black Swan tested, among others, the latest, development version of Stockfish. Stockfish 17 won, the new Velvet 8.1.1 engine did quite well. More tournament results will be on our website soon.
